ARCHITECT

Shahid Abdulla, the internationally acclaimed Pakistani architect, is one of the founding partner of ASA, Arshad Shahid Abdulla (Pvt.) Ltd; A firm known for its strong yet simple design philosophy, evolvement of design & construction methods. Shahid Abdulla has an eye for detail & has been acknowledged for his versatility and experimentation. His modern approach to all his work shows his command on design aesthetics. He has been appreciated by all quarters for his highly impressive forms, may it be universities, hospitals, commercial, residential or interior projects. They are termed as "most functional, environmental & ecological structures". His selected projects range from high rise buildings to small and large social projects. ASA is currently working on the under-construction ICON a sixty-story building in Karachi and Bakht Tower and have completed projects like the MCB Tower, Dolmen City, Dolmen Twin Tower, South City Hospital, Khadi Factory, NIC Tower to name a few. Sukh Chayn Residence is lucky to have him design our first building as our foundation stone.

PHILOSOPHY
OF THE DESIGN

The design of the project was conceptualized as a marriage between nature and the built environment. Therefore, project volumes took strong inspiration from the mountains and conifers that cradled the Site.

As the ASA's philosophy is deeply rooted in practicality and simplicity, the needs of users were kept paramount in carefully putting together design components of this project. Urban lifestyle was interwoven with cultural sensitivities to create a modern expression of a home.
